PHTLS Course Coming in August!

Williston Fire Department will be conducting a Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) course on August 25-26.
This course is recognized around the world as the leading continuing education program for prehospital emergency trauma care. The mission of PHTLS is to promote excellence in trauma patient management by all providers involved in the delivery of prehospital care. As the global gold standard in prehospital trauma education, PHTLS has proven to decrease mortality rates by improving the standard of treatment of traumatic injuries.

This course is appropriate for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians, and other prehospital providers. PHTLS is recognized by NREMT and is accredited by CAPCE.

The cost of this course is $225 and includes the current Prehospital Trauma Life Support book. Class will be held each day at 0900 at WFD station two, 610 58th St W, Willliston.
